Venice Film Festival 2022 Short Film Winners

Mongolian/French short film Snow in September from director Lkhagvadulam Purev-Ochir won the Orizzonti Award for Best Short at the 90th Venice Film Festival on Saturday. Italian director Maria Guidone picked up the Best Director Award for her short film, Albertine Where Are You, in the festival’s Critics’ Week sidebar program. There were two other winners in the aforementioned strand: Puiet by Lorenzo Fabbro and Bronte Stahl won the Best Short Film Award and Federico Russotto’s Reginetta won the Award for Best Technical Contribution.
